PYF Savings Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026

PYF Savings is a grocery price tool included with a Pay Yourself First (PYF) subscription. This policy explains what information PYF Savings collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

• Your email address. When you sign in, we use your email to send you a one-time sign-in link and to confirm that you have an active PYF subscription.
• Subscription status. We check your subscription in PYF's customer records and keep a short record that you have access, which we re-check regularly.
• Your first name and plan. We copy your first name and the name of your PYF plan from PYF's customer records so we can greet you and show your plan in the app.
• Your sort preference. If you choose how results are sorted (for example, "Lowest price"), we remember that choice so it works on any device.
• Sign-in records. We keep the date you signed in and a secure, scrambled version of your sign-in link and session so we can keep you signed in. We never store your sign-in link or session in readable form.
• A sign-in cookie. One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is used only by PYF Savings.
• Your internet address (IP address). Used briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts and protect the service from abuse. These limits expire on their own within minutes.

What we don't collect

• We don't keep your searches. When you search, your ZIP code and the product you typed are sent to the store's price service to look up prices. PYF does not save a history of what you searched for or which products you viewed.
• We don't keep your location. Your ZIP code is remembered only in your own browser for the current visit and is cleared when you close your browser.
• We don't collect payment information in PYF Savings, and we don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run PYF Savings. They receive only what they need to do their job:

• Cloudflare hosts PYF Savings and provides the security check on the sign-in page.
• Zoho holds PYF's customer records and sends our sign-in emails.
• Kroger provides store locations and prices. We send Kroger the ZIP code and product you search for. We do not send Kroger your name or email.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering used on our pages, and product photos load from the store's servers. Like any website, these services can see your internet address when your browser loads them.

We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of PYF, our subscribers, or others.

Links to stores

When you tap "View at store," you go to the store's own website. That site's privacy policy applies there, not this one.

How long we keep information

• Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and can be used only once.
• Sessions end after 30 days, or sooner when you sign out.
• Store and price information is kept only briefly to make searches faster, within the limits the store sets, and isn't linked to you.

Keeping information safe

We use secure connections (HTTPS), store sign-in information in scrambled form, and limit who can access our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if required by law.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. To ask what information PYF Savings holds about you, or to ask us to delete it, email info@payyourselffirst.com.

Children

PYF Savings is intended for adults with a PYF subscription and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shared with subscribers.
